There are several access points off Rt 29, namely the roadside rest area and the fly fishing only stretch. There are wild brook, brown and rainbow trout, but it is also heavily stocked. The reach the ffo area, follow 29 to Rt 292 (at Lorbeez Sunoco). You can park near the bridge over the creek to reach the upper stretch, or keep going another 100 yds to Jenks Rd. Follow this to a parking area on your left. You will see sign noting the special regulations (open year round c&r fly fishing only). The creek has been very low all summer, but usually fishes well in the fall. Decent trico hatch mid morning, isonychias, 16-20 bwo's, terrestrials are good choices in October. The rest area will be on your right if coming from Tunkhannock, there is a parking and picnic area, and a large, fairly deep pool that usually holds fish (now that swimming season is over!)
