Hmm.... braid huh? Sure does make an awesome body! :thumbup: YEP I also use silver tinsel braid for streamers and copper/bronze tinsel braid for nymphs, they're pretty productive

Sorry for the delay I had some issues with postage the flies are in the mail as of yesterday morning I tried to get the envelope prepaid for return cost me 7 bucks when I asked around we cant get prepaid from the US so I had to go back 3 times to finally get someone who knew what they were doing for the return Ended up I had to put cash (yes US cash) in the case I hope its not too much trouble for you Could someone also explain what other options I may have

I've been looking at upgrading vices for quite some time now looking at the Peak Vice Maroon package which seems to include everything Im looking for Comes with 3 sets of jaw sizes and has the rotary feature for checking out all sides of my fly,(plus the material holder and handle for rotary - not that important I suppose) runs a little more than I hoped but still affordable if it lasts as long as the cheap starter kit one i still use today Ive attempted to read some of the 30+ pages on "what vice do you use thread" - but there isnt much info on the peak vice Any major negatives I should know before ordering? Does anyone have a safe site I could order this model and package on line - preferably Canadian to avoid duty and exchange Thanks in advance

I've joined a few swaps so far and was wondering what evryone thinks the best way to package the flies for mailing The first 2 I used regular envelopes and put the hook points through cardbard and taped down the hook points on the back. Im not sure what shape they were in when they got there plus I was worried someone would get pricked by the hook point while processing When I recieved the flies back there was holes in the envelope caused somehow by the proccessing and the flies were loose with the tags hanging from the points, so for my next swap I purchased bubble packages from the post office and burried the hook into a small strip of foam which I was unable to attach the toe tags because of the foam I havn't had those flies returned yet Swapermiesters could probably answer this best because they have seen many examples I'm sure all I see is my return envelope provided Thanks
