  1. Cape Breton, lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and Blue Rocks are a few that I saw in there. Very nice
  2. Steve I hope you don't mind I spent a minute on it and I just lightened it up a bit a removed some of the noise. If you don't like it please remove this post.
  3. I'm not a Nikon guy Alex if you haven't bought anything yet then check out the new Nikon D7000 it's weather sealed and has a partial magnesium body, top and back. This thing out performs the old D200 and D300 making them worthless. Heres the best thing it has something the D700, D300s and D90 doesn't have, iso100; this thing actually kills the iso range on the D300s. The D300s and D700 fake iso100. I guess Nikon finally woke up and realized they've screwed up for too long. Most of the D90 and D300s guys are screaming fowl that their more expensive cameras are going to drop in value fast because of the new consumer grade nikon. Of course there a couple of things that the D300s has that this doesn't but then again there so much more that the D7000 has that the D300s is lacking. http://www.dpreview.com/previews/nikond7000/
  4. Frame rate as nothing to do with high quality images, it has nothing to do with quality at all, your glass has everything to do with it. Not all sensors are equal and there is a massive difference between a consumer grade sensor and a professional grad sensor. For lenses your best bet for quality is to look at a 100% crop to see how sharp it is. Most out of the box kits look ok at an 8x10 but look soft at a 100% crop.
  5. The Sony NEX 5 is not a professional or semi-professional camera. The Sony A900, Sony A850, Canon 1D series, Canon 5DMII, Canon 7D, Nikon D3 series , Nikon D700, Nikon D300s are professional and semi-professional cameras. Out of all those I'd choose the Canon 5DMII or the Canon 7D. The last season of 'House' was recorded on the Canon 5DMII so the video is alright. For a cheaper one other than the pro or semi-pro ones you can look at the new Canon D60 or the new Nikon D7000.
  6. For the best results look at stacking your macros. You'll be amazed at the different details you'll pick up in each shot.
  7. Do elaborate, all I know is my country was attacked by a group of "religious" radical terrorist, to which I feel a "scorched Earth" response was the correct response! yes, what you said is the condensed version of what is NOT being said anymore. My son (6th grade) said that they talked about the atrocities for an hour or so in school, but no mention was made for the REASONS behind the attacks. The Pentagon hit and flight 93 were not even talked about. We talked Friday and Yesterday about it. We remembered the victims and their families, God rest their souls. We ate Pork Ribs for supper. Thanks for mentioning the Pentagon hit and flight 93 they should never be fogotten.
  8. If I knew you where looking for one I would of sold you mine, it's sitting collecting dust. I have 3 vices a LAW, a Dyna-king Barracuda and the swiss master. I would rank them in that order aswell.
  9. David those are fantastic! :clapping: If my post came off as harsh I apologize to you. I'm really interested in the Gary LaFontaine flies I've been tying them years and it's nice to see an original. Thanks for sharing
