Hey everyone! I have been thinking about starting a thread involving a series in which I post a passage of Scripture from the Bible and then we discuss it! I was just wondering how many of you would be interested. But before we continue let me tell a bit about myself. I am a 17 year old high school student. I have recently been accepted into Moody Bible Institute and plan to pursue Ministry Leadership with a Preaching focus. My plan is to get my degree, maybe attend seminary and then one day hopefully run a church. But whatever God has planned for me will be fine! I may be young but I have much knowledge and wisdom on this topic (1 Timothy 4:12) (although my fly fishing skills are still novice). We can discuss the verses I post, any verses you guys post, any questions you have, any topics that deserve a Christian insight, or anything faith-related! If you guys have any personal questions feel free to send me a personal message and I`ll help you the best I can! Again, let me know what you guys think and maybe it will become something big!

I entered about 2 years ago, put in a classic salmon pattern my grandpa had "invented". they sent me a letter saying that i would have won if i wasnt a minor. kinda bummed out they wouldnt let a 15 year old beat out the old farts around here (just kidding). anyways i didnt know you had to be 18+ but good luck everyone!

Any of you guys do anything other than fly tying/fishing that's outdoor related? I tie, fish (both fly and conventional), make tackle, trying to get a couple molds to make lead weights and plastic worms.

Hey just looking for a new vice. Started out with a black vice I got in a kit but the jaws are all dented and cracked from heavy use. Anyone got a spare vice? Preferably a rotary vice and possibly with multiple jaws and/or attachments? Thanks a lot. Tight lines.

Hey guys, I've been reading a lot of posts about guys taking about materials they never use and so i got to thinking. What if they made a store that bought materials from people for a fairly decent price and sold it at a reasonably decent higher price. Kind of like a good will but you get paid for your donations. Do you guys know of anything like this or do you guys think its a good idea? Would you guys participate in this?

I have seen many great tyers with just tons of material. i envy them so much. Does anyone know where to get a TON of material for very cheap. For example like an assortment of dry, streamer, nymph, and saltwater hooks all including 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 size? Of course this is an example but if someone knows where to find it that'd be cool too. Or like an assortment of all different dyes of ring neck or mallards, or any material
