"Flies as Art" book

Recommended Posts

I was just curious, did any of you out there purchase Flies As Art (by paul whillock)? I pre-ordered mine, so I guess I would have to ask if anyone has pre-ordered theirs as well? If so, when did you order it and have you gotten it yet? I ordered mine in July 05 and still don't have it...any info would be appreciated

Saw him at the show in somerset and he said he had a problem with the shipping, for some reason they sent them all back to him, I would think in another month we should have them.

Hey,

I bought mine at somerset and it is awesome! Great photos, step by steps, and absolelutly filled with great info. Last I talked to Paul he said it will be about a month or so as long as customes doesn't cause any problems again, as plumbob said before he shipped 2500 copies over by mail and took some with his personal belongings on the flight. Customes sent back the mailed package so you were only able to buy them directly from him at the show but was sold out by sunday morning. Good luck and hope to see some of your ties from his book.

Well is was talking to Paul earlier today through emails and he said "The books arrive in the States on 20th March 2006 and distribution will begin immediately" And he also starts to film his 4 dvd set next month... :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Man I can't wait to get it when they are out. Realistic tying truly is the dark side... :hyst: :hyst: Its addicting!!!! I just wish more realistic tyer would come out with books and DVDs also.

Sam...Do you know where it'll be "distributed" in the U.S.? Bookstores? Fly Shops?

A DVD version sounds interesting. Since video production is my profession, I would be interested in obtaining the finished product.

Later...
