Alex C. 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2007 Thanks Daryn, I can't wait till you get a webcam and teach a few. I wanna tie this pattern with "baby duck yellow" deer hair and use some rubber leg hackle for feet sticking out the bottom. I'm gonna give Chris Helm a call next week to see if he's got some really long hair to help pull it off.

teachrtec 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 Alex how would you do the head on a duckling pattern? Seems like it would be a large mouth getter for sure. Brad
Alex C. 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 I'm sure bigger bass would hit it, but I was hoping more for big Pike :headbang: I might just leave the hair long in that area on the top of the fly. Their heads are usually kind of "down" when they're swimming so I don't know if it's a really important feature. I think the big thing is those feet kicking :dunno: Should be fun to play with.
