Float Tube Repair Question

Recommended Posts

Guest

Coming into this discussion late and having no idea how round/large/deep the Caddis shell is,

I have a Buck's Bags donut that uses a truck tube- and even before I used the Buck's thing we always had truck tubes for floats when we were swimming- as I recall a truck tube will overinflate in a major way and the only negative consideration I can think of would be the obnoxious valve stem-

I'd think an 11:00x22 (rim size) or whatever tube would allow for overfill and maybe take care of the problem.

I'd buy a whole new set up, but I'm accident prone

the U shaped boats are much easier to get in and out of, but I kinda like being able to lean on the front of round tubed

I currently use a fish cat, I would have no trouble napping away the day in it on the water

just a thought
