Timo...Very nice! I like what you did with the legs. Are those Japanese Nymph Legs?

Thom you're right about the legs. They're the smallest (tan) japanese legs and the tapering is made with coats of dave's flexament. I use those smallest legs most because I think they're only ones that aren't too stiff for fishing. This flexament technique is also great because it doesn't stiffen the legs..

Hi Timo,

I was just looking at some of the topics I missed during the couple of months I wasn't online. Wow, your stonefly is gorgeous, seriously an exceptionally beautiful stonefly. And it looks real enough to crawl away.

Outstanding work Timo. I have only known you as a tier of exceptional classic salmon patterns. I hope to see more of your diverse talents..

Thanks again for the compliments.

Dave, I consider myself more of a well allround tyer than a specialist in any type of fly. I am maybe most comfortable tying semi-realistic fishing flies for trout and grayling but fly tying contains so much more and I'm trying to enjoy as much of it as I can. Past couple of weeks I've tied couple bass bugs(something new for me) dry flies for trout and a freestyle salmon fly :)
