Mike Boyer 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2007 Tied on a popular Partridge hook. I forget where I ran across this one, but John wrote me a note about this one some time ago, saying it was named after a hole in the Deschutes river (as best as I recall) where a bedsprings was in the bottom of the run. Orange seal, flat and oval gold tinsel, and a counter rib of gold wire. Blue eared pheasant and Gadwall with bronze Mallard completes the dressing. I used to practice Spey flies using this pattern. nrthcsteel 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2007 Another beauty. The whole fly is great, really like the way you set the wing and how you can see the body throught it. Thanks for sharing!! Kevin
