The Goat 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Can someone explain to me how this is done? I'm intersted in stacking CDC, but information on either way would be helpful.
flytyer56 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 I just looked in my copy of The Fly Tier's Benchside Reference, and I didn't see anything listed as far as stacking hackle. I'll look again tomorrow, and also check out some of my other books. I did a google search and that didn't give me anything either.
mvendon 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 Hi Bent, Hackle stacking is also called a Paraloop. You can find a really good tutorial on it by Harry Mason at this link. http://www.troutflies.com/tutorials/stacker/index.shtml Hope this helps. whatfly 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2008 Harry's tutorial is excellent. You might want to also pick up a copy of Ian Moutter's Tying Flies the Paraloop Way and see if you can find the DVD Tying Bob Quigley's Signature Flies.
