rstout 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2009 Now thats one hot peice of work! NICE tying! Jan Not really tying. Mostly crafting! I have yet to try one. I have tied them in tan, yellow, olive and chartreuse. My friends all stand around with their hands out so they at least catch fisherman. :hyst: Thanks Rob

rstout 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2009 is this with the new river road foam cutter???....I love their cutters.....looks nice Yes, they are. I broke down and bought all 4 sets because I couldn't decide which size would work best. They do a great job. The hoppers are time consuming though. Here is the link to Tony's website. http://www.riverroadcreations.com/index.htm Rob

rstout 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2009 A piece of art. Are you really going to fish it? Oh Yeah! :headbang: I tied up six of each color and each size so I have (had) 96 of them. Friends like them so I have about half that number left and I owe smalltownfisherman's swap 12 but I am going to see if they work as soon as hopper season hits. VERN-O 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2009 Rob....I can testify to the foam head minnow cutter and the crease fly all tie very fast the STP frog is a bit time consuming.....and I have another chernobyl or similar cutter that isn't too bad butt the hopper looks worth the extra effort......I'll be curious to see how it rides in the water. t5f 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 They float in the water like a dream. That was the first thing I thought was "how do they float" So I tossed one in the water and couldnt believe how good it looked and how well it floated. I also just purchased a set for size 10 and am very pleased with the size of the final product. Come on hopper season!!
