this is a great nymph pattern, such a versatile pattern, so many different way to tie it. One of the first npmph patterns I learned to tie. There are some excellent patterns right here in the database plus several good ones on youtube as noted in this thread.

twohearted can get you a great deal on a dubbin block (for making brushes) as well as other materials and advise. He as some of the good dubbing blocks from Jan not the knock offs that do not spin well.

Welcome to the forum. Is there something in particular that you are having difficulty with when tying them? Some of the key points are to keep the body compact; using flat lead and a dubbing loop (or brush) will keep the bulk down. Also trimming the dubbing along the top before tying down the shell also helps the profile.
