camocrazy82 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 What is the purpose of this little spring wrapped around vices? Im a rookie so go easy on me! :dunno: Thanks fellas!
Mickalo 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 it's used for holding materials draped over the vise, like long feathers, wire, ribbing materials, etc., that would normally get in the way while your tying other materials on the hook. You just take the material and slide into the spring and that holds it away from your vise jaw. hope this helps Mike
