eugward 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 in my own case I buy all of my fishing tackle for spin rod from a local fishing and hunting store and all of my fly fishing equipment from my closes fly shop. Jim Slattery 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 The reason for the price increase in hackle has less to do with the Bird Flu scare( that just made it tough to get any hackle) and more to do with the sharp price increase in feed ( can anyone say ethanol production during the $4.00 a gallon of gas days) Breeders lost their a$$es on that one and prices haven't really dropped to pre $4.00 levels yet.
