Guest Report post Posted January 12, 2005 This swap will be concluded and I will divide up the spoils tomorrow. I know each and everyone of you will be happy with the flies you will receive because this swap has been one of the very best examples of great tying I have ever seen in a swap. Thanks OSD. Guest Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Man did I have my work cut out for me tonight Five hundred and twenty eight Hare ear nymphs to divide up Wow It was a Great swap with beautiful flies tied by all and we had a good follow through rate with only 2 sets out of the 24 set that failed to meet the deadline I would like all the swappers that took part in this very big swap and also the swappers who tied me up special flies for being the swapmister. And as I said in the last post I know you all will be happy with the flies from this swap. Thanks again OSD.

mgj 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 I look forward to receiving these as well. hare's ears are certainly one of my favorite flies to tie and fish. every winter I work out a number of hare's ear varients of one kind or another. right now in my vise is a monster (#6) w/ a conehead that should work like hotcakes prior to , during and after the spring blowout. anyways, the reason I'm posting is this...I see you sorted the flies w/ paper condiment containers. the last large swap I hosted my wife came up w/ yet another inspired idea. after I forked up the sorting, my wife suggested I use muffin tins. DOH! (I've never typed that before) this of course is the same broad who'll outfish every hatchmatcher on the river w/ a chernobyl ant during a bwo hatch. I guess tha's one of the reason's I'm the luckiest guy in the world? I can't wait to get these flies. thanks to all involved. mgj
