loook like a reel trout catcher. what material did you use for the body?

Looks like a variation of the Gary Lafontaine deep sparkle pupa. At the time Gary developed his pattern metal beads and CDC were not used for tying in the USA.

Definitely LaFontaine-esk. It's such a shame we lost him. :down: Will Always be remembered Mr Caddis.

Initialy looks like LaFontaine's but actually under body is made by green clear beads/ below the antron yarn/ and when is wet the body become translucent and has distinct segmentation.

 

Here is amber variant and body is seen more clearly:

 

 

Here antron yarn is more poor but it works even better.
