FlyFishin'Jam 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2014 Will give these a shot later in the year, size 7's and very simple/ reduced. Most of my coho have come on quite small flashy stuff so these should do it on the swing.

Salesville 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2014 I'm not tracking here.... AWESOME ties, but what's the wing? Thanks! Salesville
FlyFishin'Jam 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2014 Cheers all! Yes a very simple wet fly, was a bit concerned with the weird tinsel i am using has sections on 1 inch flat, 1 inch embossed, wraps a bit funny but surely reflects a lot of light. Wing construction is simple guinea fowl wing quills, i think on a couple there are 2 sets of wings. It is a very cheap material often overlooked. I mean look at the immense volume of guinea hackle in every fly shop, why not also use the wing quills? Makes a sweet small wet fly wing i think, not to mention tails or cheeks!
