flyoloco.com 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 Have had some fun fishing these in local rivers and some of our small lakes that are heavily stocked. Would love to run them through some California bass water some day and give those swim bait guys a run for their money.

flyoloco.com 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 I tie them as dense as possible and trim them as tight as I can but not so much that the joints get exposed.
Bryon Anderson 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 Those are fantastic! I know some big hungry browns on the Pere Marquette here in Michigan that would absolutely murder one of those. Nice work.

bighornbuster 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2014 As a matter of interest, these appear to be a close match to Blane Chocklett's Game Changer. A quick Google should reveal the tying instructions and as well, there is a great selection of the fish spines( flymen makes them) and a lot of the specialized material for tying these in different colors at the Bear's Den Fly Shop. Chocklett uses some Clear Goo on the tail to get more of a forked look but these look really well done. The materials that he markets are pricey but certainly simplify the task. Well Done!!!
