A good site to visit as a beginner is flyanglersonline.com. Click on the "fly tying" and then the "Beginning Fly Tying" tabs - a bunch of info there for the newbie. Don't hesitate posting photos, even if you don't think the fly is good enough. Many of the members are instructors, and photos help them to help you ... if you want it.
