I've tied rabbit zonker streamers, woolybuggers, beetles, inchworms,etc. I can't seem to work with 70 denier olive thread though. Any tips on that?? Can't wait to see if I catch anything on them! While it is possible to tie those patterns with 70 denier, you would find it much easier to use 145 denier. Save the 70 thread for size 16 and smaller patterns.
