SBPatt 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2015 A few minor changes to the original. hook - Dai Riki 280 #10 thread - Danville 6/0 brown tail - EP Fibers light olive tag - Uni-stretch Chinese red rear wing - elk hair rib - x-small wire gold body - peacock herl body hackle - coachman brown wing - calf tail white front hackle - coachman brown mash barb, start thread at hook point; tie in CH, fold, wrap back to point above barb return to point; tie in Uni-stretch, leave tag-end long wrap to tail and back; tie off/trim pull tag-end over top; tie off/trim, trim tail (gap width) clean, stack, measure (tips to tail) a clump of elk; tie in tie in rib tie in peacock, twist, wrap, tie off/trim tie in hackle at front of body; palmer to rear wing capture tip with rib, continue forward thru body; helicopter end, cover with thread, trim hackle tip trim hackle, top and bottom clean, stack, measure (tips to rear wing) a clump of calf tail; tie in/trim tie in hackle wrap hackle, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
