Gatcha! Bonefish Fly - Maybe the most effective bonefish fly?

Recommended Posts

The Gotcha! bonefish fly is very popular and effective for fishing bonefish in the flats. It looks a lot like a shrimp swimming in the water when fished properly. Its fairly easy to tie and uses minimal materials.

Hook: Gamakatsu SL45 - size 6
Tail: Mylar rope with the inner rope removed
Body: Pearl braid
Thread: Danville 210 flat waxed - hot orange
Wing: Craft Fur - tan
Flash: Krystal flash - gold
weight: Bead chain eyes
