The super-deluxe model will have the old Allcock hooks It will never cease to amaze me how Eide and others can tie such clean flies in such small hooks, and even smaller. One day I will learn. Maybe. Nothing like starting today! Start with a pattern, one that you master, then tie smaller and smaller version of the exact same pattern: maybe from #10 down to #20, depending on what you are doing. Hey Cream What Technique did you use to tie the legs in? Cheers Do a search for 20"er stone fly. Charlie Craven has a great tutorial online that will be one of the top hits. You tie in a partridge feather by the tip, upside down, under the shellback. Then pull it right side up and forward, tie down, then pull the shell back over it.
