tjm 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2017 perfection loop used to be in old books on woodcraft and seamanship as the "central draught loop" or "central draft loop" because the line pulls or draws from the center of the loop. I remember my confusion the first time I saw it called a "perfection knot". I've used it for many things for many years, but have never even considered it for a hook tie. I'll have to try that.
