cornmuse 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2005 QUOTE (Rob Knisely @ Mar 7 2005, 10:56 AM) Woodcock... cool colors! Where can one get woodcock? I've read about it, of course, but never seen it for sale anywhere. Joe C.
Rob Knisely 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2005 QUOTE Where can one get woodcock? Hey, Joe: You might try Anglers Den (formerly English Angling Trappings). I've got two skins and several in the freezer waiting to be skinned, courtesy of my bird-hunting friend. I'll send you a few feathers if you want to check them out... just shoot me an e-mail with your address. Here's a nice woodcock pattern: Riley's Fancy
maddog48 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2005 Good luck with Anglers Den. Since Jim sold it, I have had nothing but problems with them. I made an order about a year ago and still haven't received everything from them. I won't use them again. You might check out Theriault Flies in Patten, Maine also. Alvin may have what you're looking for as well. Mike
