Cornbread 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2019 Hello everyone! Trout are hard to come by down here but time to tie is not. I thought I'd share a picture of my DIY pedestal, representing the best in redneck ingenuity. This thing is rock-solid, was $12 from the antique market, and comes with built-in material compartments. It even makes corn bread on the trail I'm new to this site and it looks like a great community. All the best, Cornbread (?)

mikechell 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2019 Welcome to the site. Interesting use of a cornbread skillet. Comes complete with separate compartments. Where is the "down here" that's hard to find trout in? There aren't ANY here in Central Florida.

Cornbread 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2019 Thanks! I'm in Birmingham. AL is lucky to have a tailwater (the Sipsey) that stocks. It's the only place in the state...I drive a lot to GA and TN. Thanks for the welcome and comment on the diy pedestal. -tight lines
mikechell 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2019 I have too much fun fishing for Sunfish and Bass to worry about going after trout.
