notenuftoys 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2012 I didn't see a thread started for this month, so I've taken the liberty. Share what you've been tying through the month of March. I'll get us started with a little saltwater/bass combo. A version of Bob's Banger for you. I've had this idea of using feathers to represent legs, and then I didn't have a lot of options for body material so I used UV Brown Polar Chenille. I saw a fly similar to this somewhere (can't for the life of my remember where), but it's supposed to represent a tube fly the baitcasters use for bass around these parts. I haven't put it in the water to see how it behaves yet.

I posted these before, I've only been tying since February this year so I apologise for quality ^ A white bunny leach, with heavy hourglass eyes, I think that would make an awesome sandeel imitation, too A white and green chenile zonker

lykos33 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2012 Wavey your flies are good, they will catch fish and THAT is what matters. Keep your early flies and compare them to what you tie in a year...at the rate you are going (from Feb.) you will be doing great work in a years time!
