  1. use what works best for you. Modulus is very forgiving especially when you deal in grain mesures
  2. Thompson A vise..............buy a knock off. Plenty around. Use once, throw away item........
  3. I like some of the suggested ideas for midge boxes. In my case, I snell most of my midge hooks from #20 and smaller. I mostly use the metal Altoid boxes and adhere a magnetic strip to hold the midges in place and another magnetic strip to hold down the looped end of the snell line. The length of the snell lines need to be fairly consistent in length to fit into the box of course
  4. I'd go 7'-6" #4wt line. I have longer and heavier wt rods but this seems to be the best suited in the Catskill Rivers, especially in the summer. However, if fishing the Delaware system, I'd go with a #5-6 line and longer rod, say 8' or more
  5. Hodgman H5 Stocking Foot Waders Has anyone purchased and field tested these waders? I think Hodgman came out with these waders last year so experiences may be limited. I started purchasing Hodgman waders since the 60's and have always been satisfied with them and at reasonable prices. Thanks
  6. Peak Vise. Great quality and tru rotary at affordable price. Purchase it even if you're just starting out. I'm sure someone at EBAY will purchase it from yo if you decide to sell.
