the military was my grandpas life. He enlisted at 14 and was in service till 1999 at 78 years old. He had some amazing stuff! Included 33 medals and 3 purple hearts. I could never think of parting with it. Nothing could keep him from serving!

I played with the nor-vise for the first time yesterday. I tied a couple dozen flies on it and found out I really didn't like it. I don't think I could get used to it and probally would not use the functions it was intended for. But I have meet several people that swear by it but it just was not the vise for me

I think that is an awesome idea and will be tying some tonight!

I don't have anything as well. I got willed a ton of stuff from my grandpa but it is stuff I will die with as well. Too much family history with it

plus they will be looking for cheap hackle.. Which I bet a lower line company will step in and meet the demand

I was an eagle scout and my father was very proud as well! I got the order of the arrow at scout camp and for my eagle project I planted trees in a big area that had a fire 3 years before

this has been going for a few months now. Here in vegas it has not hit but I know in the south this has been an issue. I think this was brought up 2 months ago as well

Good to hear! I just sent off 150 flies to the swap. I am not interested in freebies but glad to see you are interested in helping out! Kudos to you! Plus all the flies are tied on your hooks and I mentioned that in the letter I sent with it. Also I sent several hundred flies to cast for recovery a week or so ago and most were tied with your hooks. I just didn't know about you when I tied some.
