if you want shorter lead times go to the manufacture of boxes. As long as you got documentation that your donation is valid I have seen just a couple day turnaround in approval

congrats Evan!!!! I have had a chance to tie for money once but it was a fly I really was not comfortable enough to tie and get paid for it! I am really happy for you buddy!

I have tied on the odyssey spider in a tying class and to be honest I would rather tie on a thompson model A! My bass pro shop has refused to sell it because of all the complaints. The clearance is horrible and the c-clamp is pretty cheap compared to the peak. Possibly it can do everything a peak can but it just looks like it was thrown together and made to be inexpensive. You might as well make one yourself lol.. No offense whalensdad. I just was very unimpressed with the lack of quality the vise had in my opinion. If it works perfect for you then great!! This is just from me playing with it and from what the fly shop manager told me

if I can suggest between the two I would suggest the peak. Also look at the lower line dynaking or a regal

is it the legs that take the time? You can pre shape them and just show how to do it with one then continue to tie the fly
