  3. What are your guys favorite egg patterns for the great lake salmon, steelhead and brown trout run. I would love to see some pics and instructions if it's a more complicated tie. Since the season is almost here i have to start filling my boxes.

  5. What is the tailing material? And how did you splay it out like that?
  6. Okay not sure if you're referring to the gun brand, as my dad has a Taurus 40cal pistol? Are you saying you "accidentally" shot a songbird? If so, how do you accidentally shoot something? If not, then what do you mean? he's prob reffering to a ford taurus
  7. ill take em off your hands. i have a younger brother that would deffinatly use them.
  8. what the tail and leg material on the pt??
  9. i dont know anything about bluegills. but for trout the would be a little to long at least for me.
  10. Tails are a little to long for me. And i think it would look better with ribbing, and it would be more durable. Anyways great tie. If the fish like it than its fine.
  11. i'm from Poland and whenever my dad see's a rabbit in the woods or just anywhere he says a polish rabbit/hare would kill an american one with it's ear. ha bt anyway european rabbits/hares a 3 to 4 times as big as these. if you hunt them in poland and hold them by the ears its about 4 or 5 fool long. just my 2 sents
  12. I'm 15 almost 16 and have been flyfishing for 5 years. I've started when i was 10 and just loved it. I had no one to teach me. The only sponsor of my gear was my dad. After 5 years i finally got myself a legit rod,'reel',and line. (Greys XF2 Streamflex, Medalist reel, SA sharkwave line) < bought with shoveling money. I got into tying about a year and a half ago and im really good at it. So im a selftaught flyfisher and tyier. Well if you want to get someone young into the sport i quess they should know basic fishing. The teach them flyfishing and flyfishing will eventually be followed by tying. Well thats my 2 cents.
  13. i am a young guy that allways looking for something that can be passed on.
  14. yea there is a shop and ive tied some of matt groberts patterns. but i was wondering what i can tie that small that produces fish. the smallest i tied was 16.

  18. I went to a river in NJ and the water was low and clear. Everyone I asked said they were using flies that were 18 and 20's. In gray, tan, and brown. All i had was 12-16.(still caught a couple). So my question is what patterns can i tie this small. I'm fishing for trout and have been tying for a little over a year. If anyone is in NJ the river I'm talking about is the Ken Lockwood Gorge on the Raritan River. Any comments will be appreciated - Adrian
