Retired, was the professional in charge of First Aid and CPR programs for the Onondaga County Red Cross for ten years and for ten years prior was the lead volunteer at a smaller chapter.  Wrote and had published a book on first aid/CPR, was invited to help Laerdal design a couple of their CPR manikins, worked with the Boy Scouts of America on the local as well as national level, was part of the national teaching faculty for the Boy Scout Camping School program for five years, volunteered at Camp TaKumTa (a resident camp for kids with cancer in VT) during it's first 7 years of operation,  donated bone marrow through the national bone marrow registry and became the first American to have his bone marrow exported to Europe for transplant (My one claim to fame!).  I love to cook, garden, tie flies and have made a few dollars playing in poker tournaments here, Atlantic City and Las Vegas.  Otherwise just a ho hum life.
