  1. Thank you for this insight! I am highly motivated to get Rx sunglasses this year. I wear the progressive multi-focal lens in my distance glasses (versus my computer lens glasses; so happy I got those), and was wondering if the effect those have (where you have to be mostly squared up with what needs to be in focus through the middle of the lens and stuff left and right is not in focus) would be worsened with a wrap around sunglasses lens. My doctor mentioned going with a bifocal lens in the sunglasses over the progressive, and that makes sense given your explanation. I'm looking forward to having a pair for fishing.
  2. Wow... I guess I should consider myself lucky. I'm newer to tying and came across his website somehow. I did no research into the business. I had a small purchase, just a mixed color, one size 100 pack and it showed up in a timely fashion. I felt there was a little inconsistency in the sizing but nothing my amateur self was upset over... as I figured it gave me a little flexibility to do other sizes.

My biggest LMB on a fly rod yet. I usually only go to one small pond to get my warm water fix, so the pickings are slim. I know there are bigger in here, so there's a chance of improving.
  4. Beautiful. Until seeing your posts, I didn't know there were 8' 1wt rods... but I'm just a beginner in the sport (less than two years). I have a 6' 1wt for the small stuff. Now I'll be thinking about an 8' while out with the 6', since I think there have been times when some more reach would have been useful.
