  1. Bob, since it’s you hosting, I’ll sign up. No idea what I will tie. Probably something in the nymph/bead head family. BB
  2. JohnW1986’s jigs arrived today. Another excellent set of jigs. John, what size hooks do you use to mold 1/32 oz jigs? Take care BB
  3. Rick Zieger's jigs arrived today. Very nice. You're going to like these. Thanks, Rick. Take care BB
  4. Rick, I don't have your jigs list and I don't think they are in my Informed Delivery list. Do you still have the tracking number? BB
  5. Oops, Richmce, I missed you and I don’t know how I did that, but you’re in now and you are the last swapper. We are now full.
  6. Gillage, welcome. Glad to have you join us. Looking forward to seeing your work on the Cap Spider BB
  7. OK, Guys, here is the update. That last set of flies arrived yesterday. They still had an incorrect address and the return address had my return address incorrect as well. Same mistake both times. But, luckily, they were sent UPS and a diligent UPS driver hunted me down. That being said, the flies have been divided and I put them into the mail this morning. Most of you should be getting your set next week. The really GOOD news about this swap is that they are a great set of flies. Some of them would be ideal for warm water, but most of them will be suitable for either cold or warm water; trout and panfish. They were all very well died, not a bad set in the bunch, except for mine. I think you are going to be quite well pleased when you open your box and see this very nice set of flies. On another note, please be sure that when you put postage on your return envelopes or include postage with your set that you include enough. When the total was done today, I was left owing over $6 in postage. I don't mind that, but it does add up over time. I have no idea whose sets were short. I was busy doing the customs form for a Canadian swapper while the guy at the counter was figuring up the postage on all the packages. The postage for the Canadian package wasn't figured in the $6, that's another deal entirely, and it's all good there. r2732, please PM me your email address so I can reimburse you for postage for the wayward first package. I meant to include it in your package and sealed it before I realized what I had done. Thanks BB
  8. Thanks, Steve, for joining. Hope you are recovering nicely. BB
  9. Agn54 has joined us along with Vicente and Shmang. Only 3 spots left. Who wants 1. Better jump in before they are all gone. BB
  10. We are halfway there, guys. 6 spots filled, 6 to go. If you know someone that you think my would like to join, please invite them. I have put out notices on the Warmwater page and I have invited guys who were in the Jig Swap I did a few months ago. If you know someone else you could invite, please tell them to check it out and let me know if they are interested. Thanks BB
  11. DarrellP and cphubert, you guys are both in and I've very happy to welcome you to the swap. Thanks Randall
  12. Hey Guys, I have been asked to host an Ultralight/Panfish Jig Swap over on the Fly Swaps And Contests board and so far, Ive only had 4 guys to join. I need 8 more. Would some of you guys be interested in joining? Please take a look, and if you are interested, let me know. Thanks Breambuster
  13. RickZieger, Vicrider and DCGallim, you guys are all in and welcome. Looking forward to seeing these and trying to decide what I'm going to tie. Thanks, Guys, for joining. Who else wants in? BB
  14. Flytire, I haven’t sent out any flies yet. When I started to divide them, I discovered a set was missing. Turns out that the PO returned 1 set the the original sender. He is shipping them back to me, UPS, and as soon as I get them, I will get them in the mail ASAP. Sorry for the delay BB
  15. This swap is open to anyone who would like to tie Ultralight or Panfish Jigs. No previous swapping experience on the FTF is required. We are talking Jigs in the 1/64 oz class, give or take. Smaller rather than much larger. Absolutely no larger than 1/32. The due date will be July 15. There will be 12 swappers plus the Swapmeister, so each swapper will tie 12 jigs (extras, to thank the Swapmeister for his efforts, are welcome) and you won't get one of your own back. You will get back 1 each from each of the other 11 swappers and 1 from the Swapmeister. Each swapper will tie 12 jigs of the same size, color, materials, etc. Make them as nearly identical as possible. That's one of the greatest values of participating in a swap. Tying flies that are duplicates will strengthen your tying skills in a great way. Let me know when you have your jigs ready and I will PM you my address. All the usual rules apply. Send your jigs in a crush-proof box with a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope in time for them to reach me, in SC, by July 15. To join, reply to this thread with "I'm in" or similar. Thanks BB Swapmeister. 1. Johnw1986 - Received 2. RickZieger - Received 3. Vicrider - Received 4. DCGallim - Received 5. Cphubert - Received 6. DarrellP - Received 7. Agn54 - Received 8. Vicente 9. 16. Stabgnid, if there is ever a change in how I am to handle your flies, please let me know. Unless I heard differently from you, I will assume the routine is the same. Thanks BB
  17. OK Guys, Sorry to have to tell you, but we have another problem and this time it's on me. I began to divide the flies today and realized that a set was missing. I thought they were all here, but there is 1 set missing. I checked this thread to see which set it was and realized it was r2732's set, but it isn't his fault, it's mine. When I PMed, him my address, I accidently sent "390 a Lake" etc. I accidently typed an "a" after 390 and didn't catch it when I sent the PM. I have heard from r2732 and the flies were returned to him yesterday marked that there was no such address. You would think that that they PO could have figured that 1 out. At any rate, r2732 has the correct address now and I'll sent them along as soon as I get his flies. Sorry for the delay. BTW, Steve's flies arrived yesterday. My apologies to the group for the delay. BB
  18. Vicrider, sorry, I got lost in the thread and thought it was Vicente with the broken hip. So sorry to hear this. Let us know how your recovery is going. BB
  19. It’s really great to hear from you, Steve. Glad you are doing well. Hope you didn’t over-do in getting your flies to the PO. I will let you know when they arrive. Vicente, your flies arrived today. Hope you are doing well and recovering nicely. BB
  20. Also, fishingbobnelson’s flies are here. Thanks, Bob BB
  21. Houston, we have a problem. Seriously, guys, Stabgnid has had his flies done for a bit, but has had to go into the hospital for a few days for a surgical procedure. He hopes to be home this week, but it may be a few days before he can get to the Post Office. I would like to wait until the weekend to see if we hear from him. What do you guys say? BB
  22. Vicente, I’m so sorry to hear of your accident and all the pain you are going through. I will be praying for a rapid and complete recovery. Give us updates often BB
  23. Also Fshng2’s flies, the Crease flies, are here BB
  24. My bad, Flytire, I could have sworn that I had acknowledged your flies. Yes, your flies have BEEN here. Thanks. BB
  25. Bruce Derington’s flies arrived today. Very nicely done. Thanks BB
