2005 Fly Tyer of the Year Pattern Guide

Recommended Posts

Guest

Just thought I would give everybody a sneak peek into what is in store in the upcoming months. I am working hard on adding the materials list to the patterns that were entered into the 2005 FTOTY contest. I have a long way to go but I think once completed it will be one of the best pattern resources that you can find anywhere.

The pattern guide will be featured as a part of Hatches as well as here on FTF. My goal is twofold; I want people to learn how to tie some of these amazing patterns and I want to get as much exposure as I can for the FTOTY contest. I'm working hard this year to get everybody fired up and excited about the contest and I am hoping to have a tremendous turnout this year.

Anyway, here is your sneak peek: http://hatchesmagazine.com/pattern.php?id=89

Will:

Nice start for the pattern guide book.

One question - Will each pattern be on it's own page?

That would be nice so you could print out each pattern, as needed.

thanks,

George

George, yes each fly will be on its own page. I may make a "printer friendly" version that just has the pic and the material list.

Like I've said before... this place just keeps getting better and better. :yahoo: You all continue to outdo yourselves. One question I do need to ask. Where are you going to take us when/if you run out of ideas? :dunno:
