Mr. McGinty 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2006 Glad you like them. This has been a very productive little pattern and it doesn't take a lot of materials or a lot of time to tie. It has caught trout, bluegill and bass. My personel best with it is also my personal best on a fly rod. A blue gill and a 8lb. bass both tried to inhale the little ant at the same time. The little ant and bluegill lost, both ended up in the bass not a bad catch on a 6' 9" 4wt. Hope the ants turn out to be as productive for everyone else.
