CJB 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2007 I'm glad to now be a member and hope to contribute a few things from Sunny South Florida. I have been tying for some years and now my 8 year daughter is now tying with me. I am trying to teach her how to cast now and have had to build her, her own rod for her size. Not, a problem as I have been building all types of rods for years. Had to stop after getting married (my stuff took up to much space), some of you may know what I mean! We hope to be posting photos of some of our creations soon. We try not to follow set patterns, as we just use what ever kind of hook and material that's around. When I was younger I worked Lion Country Safari running the Reptile exhibits almost 27 years ago. There I started collecting feathers and have had many birds and parrots and have a massed thousand of feathers. Great to be here with you, CJB.
