That's why I stopped tying for the fly shops.

It cut into my fishing time

Thanks. Anything that you guys can give up in a pattern or two would be great.

 

Even if it's a couple extra flies in your boxes it would be a big help. I tied up a half dozen of about a dozen different soft hackles. I'm sure 4 or 5 of those patterns will suffice for me. I'll be plucking a few of each pattern from my box for John.

I'm thinking I might want to lose all my flies too. There are some damn good flies coming in.

I just got a call from Ralf. Thank you very much folks.

 

I've been Trout fishing for years, as a bait dunker. I'm sure you figured that out! I started tying last year and finally felt up to the challenge of leaving the spinning rod home this year. Losing my flys and present time constraints put that plan out of my mind for the last week.

 

Thanks to your generosity and that of others, I'll be ready when the bugs start to pop!

 

I am continuously amazed by the caliber of people that make up this site and of course the true level of madness that we all suffer!
