Canadians

Recommended Posts

Hi

Ive been apart of a couple swaps now and it seems like all the swappers out there are american. So I was wondering if there were any canadians out there? One day it would be nice to put together a canadian swap for various reasons, mainly the shipping charge :)

I don't know really anything about how the swaps work. But I'm in Ottawa eh!

I'd like to get int a Canadian swap, what kind of theme would be fitting?

Hi I am in Beaumont Pieter, not too far from you as it turns out. I would do a Canadian swap, I just finished one with a fly representing each province. I'll check back and see if there is a theme selected.....Kerry

Are there any flies that are uniquely Canadian? I'm out in Ontario, for the most part. Maybe a muddler swap? I heart muddlers.

There are indeed flies that were originated in Canada. There is a Provincial fly for Nova Scotia and PEI. But any fly swap theme would probably work fairly well I like Muddlers myself.

Well Guys,

After Stony posted the U.S. Swap Club sign up I thought it might be a good idea to get a Canadian Swap Club going. I am willing to host it once my current swap is complete if there is enough interest. Let me know what everyone thinks and maybe we can get this rolling in March/April.

We can discuss potential themes but we will be looking at one swap a month for the remainder of the year.

Let me know if you would be up for it.

Regards,

Dan
