PITA sculpin

Recommended Posts

Lead barbell eyes and a correctly cut head keep this puppy down!

Great pattern to fish ... a little lengthy on the tying due to three colors randomly stacked wool.

Mike how does it swim? I only ask cause Im working on a similar fly that I'm having trouble with it flipping over. I think the wool is causing it to swim hook point down. The eyes (large lead) are tied on top of the shank (D2220 no4). No brainer right it should flip like a champ. Not so muc.h The only other thing I can think of is the zonker tail. Its holding air and causing it to not flip. :dunno:
