tightlines 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 So, out I was fishing today and having a grand old time. Sat around waiting for the evening hatches of caddis, cahills and Isonchia. Down river a bit I go and meet up with an old friend. We catch some fish and have some laughs and I want to head home. Lots of people on the river so its hard to move around without spooking any fish and stepping on someones line. So I eventually map out my exit from the river, Im walking along and all of a sudden Im completely submerged in the river. I tripped over a large rock and went belly flopping into the river. Luckily the water was only a few feet deep but it was very embarasing and my waders were full with water to the knees. I have never fell before while fishing or on a fishing trip. Guest Report post Posted July 2, 2004 The place I have seem to spend the most time swimming is on the ausable.
