Threshershark 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2009 From last sumer, looking forward to some warmer weather... Taken with a 70-300mm lens + 12mm tube. Very nice. I like the last shot of the 12-spotted skimmer. I think the Western meadowhawks are cool too.

Tybugs1 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 That's a great shot Lynn, that must have been an interesting photo shoot Thanks for the comments It's an awesome photoshoot every year about the same time each year. I have a gentlemen I guide every year about the same time. The Damsels and Callibaetis are coming off together. The Damsel love to prey on the Callibaetis Spinners. The guy I guide lets me shoot video and photos. He even insists I fish along with him. I get him to alot of fish so he is very happy. Can't beat that trip I use the video and stills in presentations and he likes that too It all works. I have Photo's and video of the little predators! It's been a lot of fun and look forward to doing it all over again this year. Thought you all might like another shot of one
Frogfish 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 Seeing all of these great shots, I want to know what macro setups you guys are using?
Tybugs1 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2009 Seeing all of these great shots, I want to know what macro setups you guys are using? At times when I'm guiding I dont have the room or time with the bigger camera. Along with the fact I'm not sure how to take Macro's with the big camera yet! I used my point and shoot on the Bug Pics. The little buggers don't give you alot of time for set up. I feel fortunate to have gotten the shots that I did. The video's are awesome I have to admit. This summer I'm going to take some time and do some with the big camera and learn how. Hope that helps.
Houndog 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2009 Seeing all of these great shots, I want to know what macro setups you guys are using? I used a 70-300mm lens with a 12mm tube (allows the lens to focus closer), natural light.
