Floyd 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Wrap thread on needle and place end of thread in material holder. Stack hair to even up ends and tie onto hook as shown. Wrap thread on body to form tail. When you remove tail from needle take the thread that was in the material holder and pull to remove the slack and cut off excess. Tie on tail as far back on the hook as you can. Tie on a piece of foam about 4 or 5 mm wide. Stack hair to even up ends and tie onto hook as shown. Now take scissors or bodkin and divide hair in two parts. Bring foam through hair and tie down. Lift foam and wrap thread on hook and bring foam back down and form head and whip finish. To put on the front fly just repeat the instruction.

Floyd 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 Not sure how it's going to float. Going to test it on some Bass. I'll find out Sunday. The hook size 10 on a Mustad 9672.
