Trying out some new CDC:

Thread: Hends Grall, tan

Abdomen: Hare, light natural

Thorax: Hare, dark natural

Wing: CDC, tobacco

That's a very pretty emerger. Have you thought about brushing out the dubbing under the thorax to get a little leggier look?

That is certainly a possiblity David. Certainly the footprint would be different and will give a nice effect.

The trailing and protruding CDC also help accenuate the footprint of this style of emerger:
