Dries for Tasmanian Trout

Recommended Posts

Hi guys...

New member  .... Am heading to Tasmania at Christmas to tempt some creek browns and rainbows with size 14 and 16 dry flies. Anyone interested in a swap?

Cheers

Dave

Edit: PS I know that according to the rules I can't be SM just yet... so I guess I'll need a Swap Meister too if there's interest.

Hi Dave,

I've sent a PM to the moderators about running my first swap. If I get the go ahead, I'll host your Tassie swap.

I'll keep you posted.

If you get this going, I might be interested in participating. I'd love to have some flies from "down under." Do you suppose Tasmanian trout would like an elk hair caddis as much as Idaho's do? ;)

Thanks for the interest John :D

I've heard a rumour that the Tassie trout like dark colours  ... I reckon a nice elk hair caddis will go down well.
