Floyd 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2011 Tie on the Polypropylene and cut to length for tail Cut foam to the same width as the gap on the hook. Tie foam down even with the point of the hook. Tie on chenille, and wrap to where foam was tied down. Bring foam forward and tie down where chenille stops. Tie on eyes. Stack deer hair to even. Cut to length and tie down just behind the eyes. Bring foam back over eyes and tie down forming head. Place legs on side of fly. I use flat skirt material. Cut foam so you have a small tab sticking up. This will help hold hair in place.
