NoSlack 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2011 Hey everybody!! I recently traded about a dozen flies for a box of fly tying supplies. The man I got the box off of got it off of an old gentlemen. The contents of this box included some very nice hackle, calf tails amongst other things. Then I looked in the bottom the of this box and found an envelop with some hooks in it. Old looking..... Very old looking hooks. I have about 60 some odd spade end hooks. Some small dry fly spade end hooks and bigger streamer type spade end hooks. Pretty cool find! So here's my question....How many of you still use these types of hooks. I know these hooks will never see water, only display...anyways hope you all have a great night!
