mcfluffchucker 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2011 was looking for a big surface bait for pike so thought why not stick a fish behind a gurgler head hey ho gurgler baitfish was born , probably been done before but couldnt find anything anybody seen anything simular to it first thing was to get a pile of foam on the hook tie a fish behind it 7 inch gurgler baitfish I'm liking it but would be interested to see if there is anything similar out there id imagine there maybe some bill fish patterns that are the same Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I could see pike and musky tracking that down. interestingly, I could also see that as a coho/silver pattern in the saltwater. fish it in kelp beds or in bait balls on the surface and coho would have no issues tackling it even a big chinook. marc Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
