bear-kodiak 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2004 Hello List: Can anyone tell me who makes the small preformed balls that slip on hooks for egg pattern flies. I know that cabelas sell the glo-balls, but I am looking for the ones to fit 18-20 size hooks. Thank you in advance for any help.....jim

Guest Report post Posted November 16, 2004 If you have a Michells craft or a Jo-Anne fabric close by stop in and go to kids craft area. they carry them colors change with the season, so if you dont see it know wait till spring, save the colors you never think you can use I've found a use for them all. fishyfranky 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2004 I'll add my recommendation for the craft stores! I get the multicolor packs and a few of my favorite single color packs. There's a time and place for all the colors, even blue balls!

Hywel 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2004 While they're not 'pre-formed' eggs...visualize hot glue. *G*
Guest Report post Posted November 16, 2004 There's a time and place for all the colors, even blue balls! Believe it or not Blue seems to be a very popular color, works quite well not only as a single egg but also as an egg a on a egg sucking leech. Never depribe a fish of its favorite (color)food.
