FishDragon 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2011 These are some of the flies I tied last night. All in size 10 to size 16 wet. Was suppose to use grey and brwon partridge but didn't have any. So I thought I would use some grizzly hen hackle and give them a try. All the above flies are meant to have barred soft hackle but I used what I had. Going to tie a few soft hackle pheasant tails today all with any flies that catch my attention. Actually the pictures are in reverse. The bottom one is my first and the top is my last. 32 flies altogether.
utyer 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2011 Your doing very well, the only thing I would suggest is a little less hackle. A turn and a half to two turns is enough. When you get the pheasant tails done, go fising, they all should work for you.
